    Are Blood Pythons Picky Eaters?

I am hoping to get a blood python soon, and I was wondering if they are super picky eaters, and go off feed or not.
    Thank you,
    Billy Nicholas

Not typically, no. Very rarely do we ever have one refuse a meal here.

Mine are the garbage disposals. If one of the other snakes refuses, then one of the bloods will be more than happy to have extra for a meal.

I use mine as a dumpster for the leftovers from ones that don't eat. I used to have a burm I used for that purpose so things aren't wasted and he was nice in that he would strike and them down them quickly. My blood instead eats well, but won't strike for the life of her. Leave in the cage, even a few, and they are gone in the morning, but her picky-side is in that she doesn't want to work for her food.

My bloods will strike but they make you work for it. I feel like a dead rat puppeteer with them.

I do however have a male ebv red group hypo pastel BCI that only eats like your blood. Has to be laid over the rim of its water bowl or its a no go

I used to have a ball that was like that: lay the rat in the same corner, facing head towards center, or not happening
