Looking at morphs to buy
So I'm new into bp's and a couple of morphs have caught my eye, but I'm having trouble finding a good source of information about them. Can you good people help me out? I was wondering what the general availability and pricing for the following were. I know availability is subject to change depending on what breeders are getting, but I just meant is if it's relatively common, like, I won't have to search high and low to find one. And same for pricing. I know everyone wants to charge what they think their animal is worth, especially if it has good colors, I'm just thinking about what the average price you've seen listed tends to be, ball park figures. Thanks for helping a newbie out.

Honestly, one of the best resources for current pricing and market value is right here:

Get familiar with what is selling and what stays on the board for a while.

Of that list your going to see the more butters and axanthics than any of the others. As youre looking at morphs make sure you look at adults and hatchlings sometimes its like night an day. Axanthics look awesome as babies, but poorer examples are going to look like normals as adults (while good examples are awesome!).

^ that and personally I'd suggest a butter(which is basically just a different line from the lesser, but essentially the same morph). They're cheapest and most common of your options(don't let how common they are deter you, they're one of the most beautiful morphs and a must have in many collections) and they get better as they age, unlike many morphs (axanthics, pastels, pieds, etc. get worse as that age IMO).
One more thing though, if you ever plan on breeding do not get a female desert, however, they will still make good and pretty pets(you can actually find female desert combos for some pretty low prices).

desert ghost is not a desert.
Axanthic has 3 different lines, vpi being the most common, but affordable
butter is also affordable
blitz is rare and only a handful exist.
reaper I doubt you will ever see, I never heard of bill selling any and he had problems which lead to neglect of his collection, many died and he's in legal issues.
desert ghosts are still a couple grand, tho I know someone with a pair of hets for $550

I guess I probably should have clarified, I added that because OP likes the look of the desert ghost and some of the adult deserts I've seen look a lot like the more yellow desert ghosts on WoB and some desert fires I've seen look like the other desert ghosts. So I just meant to warn them about the fertility issues just incase they come across a female desert and think,"oh, hey. This looks alot like that desert ghost I saw on WoB! Wow, and she's cheap and pretty! I think I'll get her for future breeding!"
I am aware that they are different morphs.

breeding isn't an issue. I was planning on a male preferentially. I do like the look of the butter, they are a cute animal. I had heard the axanthic brown out as they age, I've been having trouble finding adult pictures to see how they aged. Though I've heard that some lines retain the black and white look, which is what I want, as they mature. I just don't know the difference between lines yet, I'm guessing it's just selective breeding for colors?

I don't believe the lines are compatible, meaning you can't breed a vpi axanthic to a joliff axanthic and get axanthics, do it wouldn't be necessarily be selective breeding. I believe it's just that each line is a different morph that, genetically, doses practically the same thing. So if you get a snake from a line that tends to keep better color, you'll get a better colored snake, and if you get one from a very brown line you get a very brown snake. I've only seen one axanthic in person and I don't know what line it was from duo I can't really tell you what line stays greyist.
