    New cage for my bp

Hello everyone, on Sunday I'have bought a new cage for my snake. It's a 50x40x30 cm and it has substitute my old plastic tube. I know that is a unessential spending, but having only one snake it should not be a problem. This is a photo of it
And a photo of my BP on it
Is it OK in your opinion?

Too open, and too tall. Looks cold with nowhere to hide.

I use a tank without trouble but I have no trouble because I taped construction paper around all the sides. Before I did that my poor snake was a nervous wreck, even with hides, and was definitely off food. Something that tall and open - Man, I don't know. Don't get me wrong, I think that's a PRETTY set up, but I don't think it's well suited for a BP. They're not really display animals, you know? They're shy and spend most of their time underground in the wild. Being that exposed really isn't ideal.

...Look into more active snakes and give yourself a good excuse to branch out?

Thank you for reply me. The temperature is ok and there are two hides, one on the left (the black vase) and another into the wood. Shall I cover the sides of black? Maybe with a black cardboard

Sorry, i go wrong with 'tube'. Cage, like those used for racks, is the correct word

Yes. A tube is round, with a hole in the center, like a pipe. You would keep a snake in a tub.

I would go back to the tub and maybe look into an animal that would be better suited to what you made. It's pretty, but it's not a good choice for a ball python.
