    I use a tank without trouble but I have no trouble because I taped construction paper around all the sides. Before I did that my poor snake was a nervous wreck, even with hides, and was definitely off food. Something that tall and open - Man, I don't know. Don't get me wrong, I think that's a PRETTY set up, but I don't think it's well suited for a BP. They're not really display animals, you know? They're shy and spend most of their time underground in the wild. Being that exposed really isn't ideal.

    ...Look into more active snakes and give yourself a good excuse to branch out?
