    Re: native earth feed

I actually have used Mazuri for about as long as I have been breeding rodents and loved it. I ordered the 5 bags of Native Earth for 85 shipped and since I have been using Native Earth it just seems to be stinkier than when using Mazuri. And the Native Earth appears to break down into dust much easier and my rats go through it much faster. It will be back to Mazuri for me next order.

And they have. A week after I placed my order for 85 shipped it was up to $99 I have heard that Pet360 does this periodically. I don't know what its at now.

    Re: native earth feed

Pet 360 also had a new customer promotion, so..I paid $73.52 for 200lbs of NE. I ended up buying ten bags.

Mazuri isn't a bad food. I use it in between NE orders. My rats seem to eat less NE than Mazuri, but there isn't a lot of noticeable differences between the two. Oxbow is another good one, but I've never had a rat that liked it.

If you don't mind the extra effort, you can collect all the extra dust mix it with a little water, bake it, then re-feed.

I really hope that they can lower the price down to 85 again. Have they done this kind of things before? changing the price constantly? If they do, i better order more next time when there is a discount going on.

    It's $85 shipped for 5 bags of 40lb bags of Harlan(Native Earth).

    So, $86 for 200 lbs vs $64 for 100lbs.

Yeah saw this. One bag of NE for $44 or 5 for $99. 5 is obviously the better deal but this stuff should run about $15-20 so there actually just treating us like babies

Found it in another online place that I thought would be cheaper, but with shipping wasn't worth the cost. lol So I think I'll go with Pet360.
