    Nerria

She still needs to shed, so she looks awful with all that browning going on. Normally has a bright, clean blue hue to her, but I couldn't let another perfect day go by without snagging some update photos. Will add more once she's freshly shed.

    2013 Costa Rican Boa

I love her neat tail, highlighted saddles, and calm disposition. Wouldn't trade this girl for the world.

Very nice pics! I like her pattern a lot and love all the shades of browns in her saddles / side patterns.

She has such a cute beautiful face! Snakes have the most adorable little faces ever. She's a gorgeous girl can't wait for more pics after shed.

Some post-shed photos from today. This is her dark phase.

    Inside

    Outside

I LOVE her dark face, black tongue, and rosy cheeks!

Her contrasting with her saddle looks totally insane when she's in a light phase. Maybe one day I can catch it.

If this is awful and still already beautiful, I can't imagine how much more beautiful boas are when they're "not awful."

She is gorgeous. I love her sides in the pre-shed pics, and she is just drop-dead in the post-shed pictures. She's got such a nice dark gray color, at least in the photos. All the Costa Ricans I've seen have such a unique look, although I've only seen them in photos. I did see a couple of boa constrictors in a serpentarium while I was in Costa Rica, so I suppose those probably were as well. They were huge, though, at least 8ft, and a couple were about 5ft.
