pastels have a lot of yellow when they are young. as they get older, they brown out a bit, but especially the lighter areas of the pattern will stay much brighter than in a normal. then there are also flames coming up from the belly, and the head looks different.

the problem is when its advertised as a pastel + het hypo + het clown, and its not even pastel, then there is a good chance that its all made up and its just a normal. unfortunately people often make stuff up to make their normals sound more interesting. such inconsistencies often are what gives it away. it should at least look like a pastel, and it clearly does not look like a pastel. thats a really big red flag, i would forget about this one and move on. maybe, for your first purchases, it would be better if you stay away from hets and buy BPs where everything that is in it is clearly visible. at least until you know which breeders you can really trust when it comes to hets.

the key is that you need a link that leads directly to the image file. which means it has .jpg at the end, not .http or anything else. when you put the link into your browser, you only get that image. no frame, no html stuff, nothing else. there are different ways to get the direct link, if there is no button to retrieve the link, then i always view the sourcecode of the website and locate it there. with the right link its easy, just click "insert image" and put the link in there.
