Yes to number 1, but I don't know the answer to the other 2.

1. Yes why not. Both are not harmful to snakes
2. I believe peatt moss is for amphibians. Would not suggest for snakes. The mulch will be good for humidity.

1. If you are going to mix them, dry out the cyprus first; then you won't have the damp substrate mixing with dry substrate. Aspen tends to mold when damp. However, what I do is have half the vive with aspen, and half with cyprus. It's still half and half, just not mixed around altogether.
2. I sometimes put little pieces of sphagnum moss around the vive. It is quite cheap and lasts a pretty long time, and it mixes well with cyprus. You can also use it to make a shed box or damp hide! I prefer this (don't use as much of it).
3. You can use other materials besides plastic wrap. If you have a heat lamp, anything that won't catch fire would be best. I found tin foil to work well, and kept me at ease knowing it was fire resistant next to my heat lamp when I used glass tanks. Unfortunately I don't have the link you are looking for.
Best of luck!

Three questions in one :)
I've been mixing my aspen and cyprus and found it works great for my humidity and although it may be damp (Cyprus) I haven't had issues with the aspen but I also do more aspen than cyprus

I've recently wrapped mine in foil and it works wonders! And instead of using the silver duct tape I used black because it looked better to me
