Rule of thumb is to feed 10-15% of the snake's weight every five days until the snake reaches 500 grams, then a small rat once a week should suffice. However my largest females will happily take a medium rat given the chance.

Well, I don't know where you are buying your mice, but that particular brand at the petsmart close to me is pretty expensive compared to ordering my rats in bulk online. I order from the big cheese rodent factory and the rats are really reasonable and delivered in excellent condition.

I just fed her a 12 gram mouse and she took it down right away, after I finish this box I'll move up a little bigger, she should be eating 15-22 gram mice going by the 10-15% rule
