Thanks so much. I got worried about him, seeing some pictures on the Internet. How often should I apply the polysporin?

If necessary the only thing I would do is clean the area with Betadine or Chlorhexidine however given the extent so long you keep an eye on it and keep your BP on clean paper towel it will be just fine.
