Like I said in the original post, I plan to pick up some nice decor and whatnot for the tank from my local pet store tomorrow. I picked this little guy up at 8:30 and all the stores closed at 9, only had time to get the essentials. On the list is a proper water bowel and two hide-outs, among other things. Right now he's really enjoying that tub of water, he's been hanging around on the edge of it and submerging himself every now and then. I put that rag in there as a temporarily little hiding spot. I was afraid to use any sort of makeshift hide-out out of a container because the entrance could have sharp or rigid edges which could harm him which we certainly don't want.
