    Dropped mouse in water

Hello! Our BP has gone on her first hunger strike. She's about 1 month off feed. I totally get this is not uncommon. She's still healthy and active so I'm not real concerned. BUT, to try to get her to eat we dangled a F/T mouse outside her hide ( in her cage). She's usually fed in a different container. She grabbed the mouse, constricted it, and then proceededto drag it around her cage, drop it in her water dish and then went back to her hide. I thought this was really odd behavior! Any ideas what this was all about? Thanks! My apologies! I didn't mean to to post this here. Im new and meant to start a new thread - sorry
