    New BP

I just got a new girl today and I set up the tank her until I complete my rack. I got her and she is in shed right now, and since I set up the tank she has been in the water bowl for long time. Any concerns, or is she just soaking her self for the shed?

    Thanks,
    Alan

    Have you checked for mites?

    What are the cage temps/humidity?

What are you using to heat the cage/measure temperatures?

I have the same set up as all my others. I have a heat mat and a heat bulb. I didn't think about mites. How do you check for them?

Do you have a thermostat for the heat mat?

Are there any little black dots on the snake or in the bottom of the water dish?

    Re: New BP

ok just checked temps cause I just set it up couple hours ago. hide temp is 85 and cool side about 78. the water bowl temp is the same as ambient temp(cool side) and no black dots on her or the water bowl. so I will see how the night goes I guess. her eyes are bluish so I know she is in shed. I just thought is was strange cause my others never do this.
