I burn cone incense in my living room on occasion with 4 snakes between my living room and dining room. There is enough ceiling and circulation for the smoke to thin out. If I had a snake/reptile room, I would not burn it in there.

I'll have to post pics at some point, my snakes love hanging out on my incense burner. Makes for a great prop.
