For the most part, these are sedentary animals who live by ambush hunting, and unless they are on the search for a mate, or a new termite mound to live in, they don't get a lot of exercise. The ones we keep in captivity are even more inclined to hang out in small hides and don't do a lot of traveling. So, it stands to reason that when we get them out of their enclosures and get them moving, their whole system gets moving.
