    Boa friends?

Ok, I have another new-boa-owner question. I've read it can be risky to house boas together.. But what about letting let hang out while being outside the cage? Are Boas social when meeting each other (not to breed) just to hang out? I have a 1.5 year old male and a 6 month old female. What's your thoughts? Do you hold two boas at once?

I only ever handle one snake at a time. I see no reason for two at a time...

I have had to handle 2 boas at once and it is a major handful. I wouldn't do it except out of necessity. But to answer your question, when I've had company over to play with the snakes, I've had multiples out at the same time with no issues between the snakes. I wouldn't exactly call them "social" but they aren't aggressive toward each other either. Keep in mind that stupid stuff can happen and snakes have been known to bite and/or try to eat each other. That is the biggest reason why I don't handle more than one at the same time unless I absolutely have to.
