Adding Night time light, but not heat

I'm looking to add night time light to a home made cage already heated with a radiant heat panel. Any suggestions for something that would do this? All the bulbs that I'm finding for night lights that don't affect a snakes vision also produce heat. Not knowing much about the light spectrum, didn't know if something like this would work?

I think Gio uses a blue LED strip for his boa. You could also try rope lights. These are both low heat emitting light sources.

    Colour-changing LEDs!

I bought a 48" strip (more like 40"), which can be cut/modified, from Ikea for $25! It's got a rainbow colour wheel, so you can pick pretty much any colour you want. The snakes never notice when the red is on, of all the ones I have tried so far.
I measured with my temp gun, and the heat output is very low. I think about 80F directly on the lights - mine is attached directly inside the PVC vive.

I think you can get something very similar from Home Depot or Home Hardware for about $60.
