Nice. He looks really good. That last pic with the bug eyes and tongue flick is great. Is he calming down at all or is he still a killer?

I love the last pic! I got lucky snapping that one. Hes still a killer in his tank but out he's a baby. He is finally getting used to the hook, he used to bite it over amd over but if I move it in slowly and pull him out, let him sit for a minute he is fine. All the bites happen in the cage.

yep, that sounds about right. my male doesn't bite the hook anymore. I think I could just reach in and grab him now but I still hook him. you should see my female bite the hook tough. its hilarious.

Great pics. These have to be my favorite python ever. I just picked up my first one last saturday and so far he/she is pretty mellow and hasnt tried to eat me yet lol. Hopefully he stays that way. im going to try and take some pics this weekend

welcome to the fan club. there isn't too much love for these guys on here but those of us that have them are completely hooked. you are gonna enjoy yours and it wont be long till you want more. can't wait to see your pics...

Im hooked already lol. im already planning on getting another one just as soon as i can have this one sexed as i def want to have a pair and trya nd brred them eventualy

Very Cool! Welcome to the club. Mine was mellow for the first two weeks, then when he settled into his cage he lunged at anything near it. Even striking as I walked by, not that they are big enough to do any damage, but mine still goes into striking mode as soon as the lid comes off.

Ya, not much love at all, but this lil guy is what made me gravitate to aussies. I am saving up to get a female to raise up with this guy and hopefully breed in the future.

you and i should create a childrens python fan club thread and use it to keep throwing updated pics and stuff. keep the one same thread running. since there arent many childrens owners on here it could just be a pic thread for the few of us that care...
