    My Female is in Shed!

    Hey all,

This is my fist go at this. I got these pythons in 2010.
I have been lowering temps since early November.
This pastel female has been visiting my male pastel every week for a few days at a time since then.
They were mating regularly at the start, didn't see locking through December, and they resumed in January.
I have been feeling for follicles but I'm just not getting the idea..
She ate a rat last week!

So today I open the lid and see she is in shed, and I was a bit confused.
    What does this mean?
Could it be a post ovulation shed?
Or do her body's plans not include laying eggs this year?

    Would appreciate the help!
    Samuel
