    Well it depends if we are talking breeder animals or pets.

    Based on my collection my answer is females, 99% of my males keep eating during breeding season, females however will stop eating at some point (generally right before ovulation).

    Now if they were all pets and not being bred I have no doubt that the majority of my collection would eat year round.
