Dent eye?
This morning took out Achilles to get a weigh for feeding tomorrow and my Wife saw that he has a dent eye. We are able to see his pupil but it's dented in. There's no blood, no scratch, What could of cause this? Temps, humidity are fine. Bad photo achilles won't stop for a quick photo

What is his humidity? I've heard that dehydration can cause this. Maybe soak him for 20 mins or so?

Re: Dent eye?
This could just b his eye cap stuck from his last shed. I have seen this before on one of my ball pythons

It happens to everyone at some point. It's not usually anything to worry about.
Usually a minor hydration issue, most likely his humidity is too low.
Up his humidity. You can soak him once if you want, but upping his humidity alone will most likely correct it within a day or two.

He shed last week where I amp up the humidity to 74% I also mist inside his two hides. After shed I let it drop back down to 54-58%. I've never saw him drink before. as of the advice you gave, his humidity is reaching 68% right now also mist inside his two hides. Hopefully this helps.

What are you using to measure humidity?
That is a sign of low humidity.

Get a cup of water, and hold your snake near it. Chances are, it'll start drinking some water. Things like this are due to being dehydrated. Not once has my snake ignored a cup of water.

I'm working on a Snake Tracker App! If you have any ideas or suggestions on features, feel free to post them in the Development Thread! I'll also be posting updates on the development of this program in this thread!

I use a accurite temp and humidity from wal-mart
It was a humidity thing, after misting inside his hides 3 hours later his eye is now back into shape. My wife is pretty happy yelling in excitement
