Do not use inside the enclosure. It should be the size of 1/3 to 2/3 of enclosures bottom placed underneath and offset to one side. The thermostat mounts between the uth and the enclosures bottom on the outside.Originally Posted by Kat1204

Currently under Viv but on another forum I've been warned this can cause mat burn out or worse!
They advise As long as mat is on stat it will be safe to use inside the Viv but store owner said not to
