    dumerils hot spot?

So those of you who have dumerils what are you keeping your hot spot at? I keep mine around 88 and always have and for some odd reason my female is always on the cool side. I don't want to drop it that much cooler but even after a meal she hangs out on the cool side. nothing is wrong with her as she eats fine, doesn't take it off tongs anymore. I have to just lay it In there. she is around 1000 grams eating 100g rats every two weeks. she is the most mellow snake I have. then on the other hand I have an albino whos hot spot I keep at 91 and he wont leave the hot side of the tank. he is eating rat pups every week.

im not worried about this as she looks to be in perfect health but just curious to your hot spots as I know dumerils like it cooler than most boas.

I keep mine at 90 and my girl stays on her cool side 90% of the time. She lays on her hot spot usually the two days after she eats. Then she's back to the cool lol

I keep mine at 87-90, and he spends most of the time on the cool side as well.

I keep my hotspot at 85

    The air temperature at 75

    60% humidity.

I use to keep the hot spot at 90 but noticed that she was always on the cool side. Since dropping the hot side temperature 5 degrees she spends a lot more time on the hot side.

Same here. I have my girl in a rack with other animals so I can't drop her temp particularly, but she does occasionally use the hotspot and eats and sheds perfectly so I don't worry.
