    Heating issues

Setting up tubs, mine are Hefty brand 52 qt tubs from lowes the site is down so i dont have direct measurements.
The warm side is perfect at 93.6 but the cool side is only at 70 degrees. Granted it's the middle of winter in wisconsin but my room holds at 65 all day, should i just up it to hold 70 degrees?

Any other ideas? I have holes also, if i plugged some would it hold heat in?

The cool side of a tub is determined by the temperature of the room that it is in. UTH's/Heat tape do very little for air temperatures/cool side temperatures. You ned to increase the air temperature in the room, or at least in that part of the room.

I agree with aaron. I would recommend a oil filled heater. We use the delonghi brand from lowes. The $70 one. If your ambient (room) temp is too low you risk RI and RI is no fun trust me. Goodluck.

The cool side is determined by the room temp so you'll have to keep the room warm enough to up the temp of the tubs. Mine stays at a constant 79.

    Re: Heating issues

I keep my room at 84-88°. I like it to vary a bit from week to week like the real world would. I also don't use any other heat. IMO ambient is the most important for of heat because it is all encompassing vs belly heat or radiant heat.
