    BP feeding

    hey guys I was just wondering if there is a feeding chart I can look at to see if im feeding my bp the right meal. he was born mid October and he eats one thawed fuzzie every 7 days. is this correct? thanks bp fam!

    Slightly thicker than the thickest point of your snake's body every 5-7 days is fine.

    Fuzzy rats or fuzzy mice? Fuzzy mice are too small for anything other than a tiny hatchling.

    you are definitely underfeeding him. most hatchlings start on hopper/sm mice.

    Like the post mentioned above, feed a little bit bigger than the thickest part of the snake.

    You can also get a scale, weigh the snake and go by the 10%-15% rule.

    Yes there are charts, Google comparison size charts between mice and rats. For us to help you more accurately we would need to know what the weight of your snake if you are able to provide that info.

    I have one male from october who weighs in at around 170. He eats two 10 gram hoppers or a 15 gram weanling. Honestly he could take a rat pup which weighs in a about 25 grams(15% of snakes body weight)

    I will have to get a scale to get his weight. can I feed him 2 fuzzies for the time being?
