    Caramel ball python questions

    Hello,

I'm trying to look for a caramel ball python but every time I see a morph it seems that its labeled as a caramel albino. My question is are the caramel albino two different morphs or is the caramel a variation of the albino morph. I'm sorry if this seems like a stupid question but When I come across a normal caramel that is all they call it but for instance if I look for a caramel pastel it comes up caramel albino pastel.

    The same ...

If you're looking at it as a breeding project, you may be better off saving up for an ultramel, very similar, if not better looking....if it's for a pet, caramel albino is great.

Caramel is the same as a Caramel Albino. Caramel is just the shorthand name.

It is not the same as a regular yellow and white albino. There are different forms of Albinism.
    Caramel is Tyrosinase-positive (T+) Albino.
Regular albino is Tyrosinase (T-) Albino.

But yes, look into Ultramels if you plan to breed. They don't have the kinking and subfertility issues as Caramels.
