Yup - It feels kind of sketch though - but that's just my opionion

Buying a snake is a little different than buying a vintage Tshirt or guitar. (eBay)

I have looked on there, and it does seem kind of "shady." If it were someone with a lot of good feedback, I might be tempted to bid on a snake, but if I were using Paypal, I'd purchase the extra insurance so if I was not satified with my purchase, I'd get my $$ back.

Yeah - good source for mites too

It is too easy for folks there to make multiple accounts and use it to give themselves a good rating. http://www.reptibid.com/cgi-bin/auct...sttype=current read the first item description (IMPORTANT NOTICE ON THIS EMERALD) as a perfect illustration of this. There are also I am sure decent folks who use it on a one-time basis to unload a herp as well - but you never really know.

It lacks the controls and safeguards ebay has - not what you want to see when dealing with live animals. It's an utter crapshoot. The cheapest route is rarely if ever the best when looking to aquire a new addition.

I also noticed that one seller said, and I quote, "Very High Yellow CB Baby Ball Python", only $30 (very cheap), and then described it this way, "I have an awesome High Yellow Juvenile Male Ball Python available. He is a little over a month old. Has shed and fed 3 times. Feeds on live hopper mice every 7 days. The yellow on this guy practically glows in the dark...." Seems to me that it can't be a juvenile if it's only a month old......very suspicious......anyway, thanks for your input, I'll forget about that site!!
