I have a jan '04 bp and she's growing pretty rapidly. It has been about 7 weeks since she last defacated. She has passes 2 urates in this period, but otherwise no feces have shown up. She does not look backed up at all, actually, its almost as if she's growing lengthwise so much that her girth can't catch up.
She has been eating large mice like they are going out of style, and she just had a great shed so I doubt there are any health issues. I am just wondering if any of your snakes have experienced long periods of time that are poo-free.

Rapid growth = less defacation?
It's possible. But I've never experienced nor heard about growing snakes pooping any less.

That is exactly my experience with Rex. went 4 months without defecating. Ate 28 adult mice and grew about 9 inches during that time.
Nothing to worry about.

Snakes have an amazing digestive tract. They digest and use every nutrient that the prey item has to offer. You can tell when they need to poop because thier back end starts getting really fat and when this happens start checking under hides and behind water bowls for a long poop.
Thanks,
