    Hello BP.net from SoCal

Hello to a great community. I have been lurking around the forums for a little bit now while my addiction for reptiles steadily grows (Hence the handle). These boards have some great knowledge and I am excited to explore them more. I wanted to introduce myself quickly and become another reptile addicted member… and hey I know you all know that the saying is true, you can’t have just one!
I have been keeping reptiles off and on since I moved out of my parents’ house. Mom wouldn’t allow anything non-fury to come into the house. After moving around a bunch with my wife we have settled back in California in the Ventura area. We are here to stay so I thought it was time to start up a collection again. I fell in love with all the crazy Ball Python color mutations out there and really wanted to get my hands on these beautiful snakes. I bought my 1st one and then well it was over the addiction set in and I now have 5. That’s the quick and dirty BIO.

    0.1 Pastel PossHet Clown
    0.1 Albino 100% Het Snow
    0.1 Het Russo Leucistic
    0.1 Leopard
    1.0 Het Russo Leucistic

    Re: Hello BP.net from SoCal

    Thanks for all warm welcomes!

@Misha - Ya I have noticed Cali is represented well here and I am excited to see that.

@jclaiborne - I live in Ventura County a bit up north from ya.

Here are a few pics as requested. I am apologizing up front, my camera skills suck!

2012 Female Albino Het Snow around 1900g's in this photo. She never hit her 1000g wall and just kept going. I am hoping she will be a big female. The Dam to her is pretty big according to the breeder that produced her. I am saving up for a Snow male to partner her with... can't wait.

late 2013 Female Leopard around 500g's here. I love this gene and I am excited to start working with it. She also has a cool belly stripe thingy going on.

I will get some more photos posted up over in the BP Pics section later. I need to re-size a bunch of photos.

What line axanthic is she het for?
You could just get an axanthic (same line as yours) male het albimo to produce your snows.

She is het for the VPI line axanthic. I had my eye on a few male VPI Axanthics het for albino but decided to just wait to see if the breeder I got her from has Snows available this season. The waiting is killing me though.. lol. These snakes really should be sold with a warning.. "Highly addictive." They also said they would do a breeding loan with me so I can utilize their Snow male this season if my females follicles are developed. I will be taking her over to their facility to put her on the ultra-sound to see if she has any follicles developing some time in the near future. I can't wait to see! The white snakes have really caught my eye and hey my wife really loves them also. So two of my projects are focused around producing white snakes... the Snow and then Whites Diamonds from the BEL complex.
