    I think the difficulty is breeding the fruit flies to feed them and planing to keep a constant supply. You have to make cultures about every two weeks to keep constant production.
    Other than that, they need their flies dusted with calcium and vitamins which should be renewed every 6 months, 80-100% humidity, and plenty of leaf litter and plants to hide in. Stress is a big killer for these guys, so even too many fruit flies in the viv can cause stress but is remedied with a slice of banana where the flies will gather.

    They are awesome little guys who are indeed diurnal!
