    Hmmm, when whales break wind, is it really that cold???? They are warm blooded creatures after all....

    Anyhooo... Welcome to the site, I personally recommend ball pythons for a first snake. However corn snakes are very nice as well if you like something a little more active, and boas are great if you like something just a bit larger. Then again carpet pythons are great if you like something large and active. In any case, snakes make great pets.
