First ever feeding...
I am warming a thawed mouse right now, in a jar of warm water. Some issues I might run into. #1... And the biggest issue, this baby has been fed live every time before. I can't keep living rodents in my rental so f/t is a must. I am not holding out any major hope this week because its new to her. #2 she is blue. She went blue a week and a half ago and she didn't feed last week. #3 The frozen mouse bled out of its nose after it thawed. The feeders I have are individually packaged so I thawed it in the "wrapper" and placed the whole thing in a heavy zip lock. Then the zip lock went into a jar of warm water to warm the mouse. The mouse's fur is now bloody. I fear she might object to a gwar fan mouse.

Re: First ever feeding...
OK I am waiting for her to feed this week. Second time with me. Been 30 mins and she hasn't taken it yet. F\T again. She is hovering over it and shows no intent on leaving but hasn't taken it yet. I am trying to do what I did last week. I used the forceps to "tease" her for a few minutes then the darn thing fell. She sniffed a bit then took it no issues. This week...she hovers. Maybe daring it to leave. Lol.

YAY! She took it. Took an hour and a half but she took it. Struck twice and then constricted it. WOOOO!!!
