All of mine were put in 37qt tubs immediately. Even the little 80g hatchlings.

If it's a choice between getting something bigger or smaller, if you're planning on keeping them long term to adulthood (and maybe beyond), I would always say get bigger. You can make a bigger tub smaller if needed, but you can't make a smaller tub bigger.
i have never thought of that.... you could take a big tub and divide it into 4 or 6 for hatchlings... that's brilliant. i think i will go bigger for everyone, i get too attached to my snakes i told myself id use them for breeding and sell them when im done with them to make room for prettier ones ..... cant do it haha ... now im telling myself im only going to keep one from the clutch ... we'll see how well that goes after i watch them in the incubator for 2 months XD
