Alternative to glass tanks
I currently have 3 BP's. 2 in 40g breeder tanks and a hatchling in a 20L. Im having trouble keeping in humidity and Im losing a lot of the heat out the top. Im going to partially cover the top with acrylic in the next couple days but sometime in the near future Im going to move them to the basement as I dont have the room upstairs. I dont want them in tubs as Id like something a little more visually appealing that holds heat/humidity well. Any suggestions?

Re: Alternative to glass tanks
I'd suggest the PVC Animal Plastic terrariums. They're well made and decently priced (depending on the model). I have a T12 and it holds temps great! It hold humidity pretty well too but I still have to mist about once a week.

Take tubs and cut out one of the walls, then just replace that with an acrylic sheet. You can also look into Animal Plastics and Boaphile PVC caging.
Alternatively, you can build your own enclosure out of melamine or plywood.

Re: Alternative to glass tanks
Look into enclosures from ConstrictorsNW and Boaphile also. They are both excellent options for the money.
Or you could just bite the bullet, get a rack, then get more ball pythons...

After looking into them all and stressing out over which ones to get, I ended up ordering 2 Animal Plastics T10's. Im going to split one of them for my hatchling and 1 1/2 yr old and put the big guy into one by himself. Kind of nice it takes them so long to make/ship gives me time to save up for radiant heating. I think this will save me a lot of money as the heat/humidity isnt going straight out the top and more importantly the snakes should be much happier. Thanks for all the help!
