    Having a hard time...

I am having the hardest time finding quality breeders.
I am in Florida...and there is a large reptile community here, but nobody wants to share their rats!! This week I spend 86$ on rats...and that's just too dang much to spend every week.

Does anyone know of a quality breeder that I can buy quality breeders from online(or local/semi-local if you're in the area)? I'm willing to pay shipping-I want a A+ animals for my stock.

    BEGGING FOR ANYONE'S INPUT!!!!!!

I'm sorry, I'm not in florida, so I can't help point out any breeders.

Have you tried joining any local facebook groups? You may be able to find someone who is willing to sell you some stock.

Also, have you looked at pet breeders? You don't have to tell them you're buying rats for anything more than pets, and they usually have good stock.

Trust me, you don't want to pay shipping on rats, it's like $150-200 per rat.

Rodents on the Road is sort of near Hawthorne but that's not local really. But it is only 2 hours drive so not that bad. I've gotten the best, healthiest rats from them in the past.

Definitely don't want to do "shipping" on live rodents. They have to be shipped like dogs, paperwork, overnight by airline, etc.

I found a local guy that gave me 1.2 from his stock. nothing too special but his rats and snakes all seem healthy-also met another lady on FB that is going to hook me up with 1.3-4 this weekend so i should be at a target 2.6 group.
I appreciate the input guys-it's weird, i have been searching and searching IRL but as soon as I hit the internet I find exactly what I need!

I hit Home Depot tonight for some 2x2's and other materials for building my rack. I'm going 6 high for future breeding. Wish me luck!
    Thank you again, guys!
