I'm very happy, I found a really good vet to take Norbert to. I got her name off arav.org (thanks Marla!) and she was fantastic. Way better than the vet I took my last snake to.

Anyway, everything went well. Poor Norbert was so scared though!! He was all balled up and trying to get away from her. I've never seen him like that, but I guess that's normal. She spent a good 30-40 minutes talking to me and examining him. Checked his mouth, checked his heartbeat, checked his whole body and felt for enlarged organs, and everything looked good!

She said he's a healthy snake, but we can fatten him up a bit more so she suggested I feed him regular adult sized mice instead of small ones. He's 207 grams. She also gave him a very small dosage of "de-wormer" for his stomach/intestines even though she thought he was healthy. I'm supposed to take a stool sample in to her and give him another dosage in 2 weeks.

So everything is good! Poor Norbert though, it was quite an experience. He's recovering in his warm hide right now.
