Swallowing Aspen
So I just recently moved my BP into a rack and I changed her bedding to aspen. When feeding her should I be worried about her ingesting the bedding?

Ingesting a little bedding won't hurt. In the wild ball pythons eat prey covered in all sorts of stuff. When my snakes get something in their mouth it either goes down and out with the food or they dislodge it themselves.

You'll be fine feeding on the aspen.

Anything other than normal food items can cause impaction.

Re: Swallowing Aspen
Don't worry about it. Consider when they are in the wild they sometimes ingest rocks and sticks. My BP was eating once and the guts popped but the got this huge blob of aspen to them. Just monitor you BP when stuff like that happens. As the rest said he should be totally fine. Fiber indeed
