Re: ball python frozen feeders
Are you warming the feeder? I normally soak it in some hot water for about 30 seconds and they take it. Also I have some good eaters, so I have no idea.
I own
0.1 normal Padme
1.0 normal (first snake) Cave Johnson
0.1 het. pied Chell
1.0 het. pied Wheatley
1.0 Leopard gecko Muffin (given to me by my little sister, she named it)
As you can see, I name my snakes after Portal and Star Wars characters.
Soon (hopefully)
1.0 pinstripe
1.0 cornsnake (or 0.1)
1.0 BCI boa

It may take a LOT of time. Like weeks. Depending on how old and what weight your snake is will depend when/if you should give in and feed live eventually.
Only offer once a week at most.

I had a ball python who I bought that always has eaten live, and she took the f/t I gave her. Slowly though.

I've had this issue before. I've got one reluctant feeder who's currently on live still. However, I just switched my new juvies that I recently bought and have only been fed live to frozen. Took a couple tries but I think I might have found the solution. My prey items weren't hot enough. What I do is that I take the thawed out prey and put it about 4-6 inches under one of those basking lamps for about 3 minutes or so. Key is to make sure you're only exposing the head region of the prey to the heat or else the rat's gonna explode if they bite the body instead. There's other methods but I think the key is to make sure the prey item is warm enough. Good luck, it can be somewhat of an endeavor though.

if ur snake is young keep feeding it live .. the whole idea behind this is to get ur bp on a quick feeding response .. once ur snake is striking within seconds of dropping the live feeder in then u will be able to switch over easier .. this is what i have done and its worked for me
1.1 het pied ,1.1 pastel,1. butter, .1 spider , .1 fire ph ghost , .1 pastave
