    Scratch that! I finally fed live! He took it in 2 seconds. This Maoist was way bigger than the ft I have been getting listed as large mice. No defrosting and no zombie dance. Fed him in a tub so mouse pee didn't go every where. Seems to be a happy guy.

    So here is a question. I have a large corner bowl from petco and it is filled half way with water. I have never seen him use it! Aren't they supposed to soak once in a while ? He just had a perfect shed. One solid piece! I'll post a picture later. I was just curious.

    Actually I do not follow her. I just liked the name. I herd it somewhere. Then my wife pointed out it was misspelled. Gotta love predictive text.

    They soak if there's not enough humidity or if they have mites. From what I've observed from my own snakes is they'll usually drink after they eat.
