I feel like a bad mommy

I am a new bp owner. I went to check on my little guy this morning and find shed pieces in his hide I don't think it was a clean shed. I didn't even see the signs!! I have now ramped up the humidity to see if it helps.

Should I give him another day before I check on him again? How long will he go before another shed?

Even stranger .. I checked on my corn and he shed last night too ! Maybe it's like when you get a bunch of girls living with each other and they all get on the same cycle

Bad sheds happen. Just up the humidity for next time and it should be fine.

I would check him again tomorrow. If he hasn't gotten the rest off (he probably won't), you can follow this thread: http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...hed-No-problem

How long before next shed depends on how much he is fed and how fast he grows. Feed less, they grow less and need to shed less. Feed more, they grow faster and need to shed sooner. Mine seem to be doing around 4 to 6 weeks on smaller snakes and 8 to 10 weeks on larger ones.
