Ball Python cheap to expensive breeding!

Hi Everyone, just out of curiosity, are there any cheap combos that make expensive ball python morphs?
    Future breeder curiosity.
    Thank you

Not really, I mean you could pair a pastel and a spider to get a bee which is more expensive. Normally if you want the high end, more expensive morphs you have to invest in the more expensive morphs to make them.

A 2 gene animal paired to another 2 gene animal is going to make a more expensive morph (if the odds are in your favour) than two base morphs paired. Unfortunately if you want to get into the high end stuff be prepared to put a lot of money, blood, sweat and tears into it and don't expect to make any particular money. The BP market isn't what it once was and it's never going to be a big money maker really

My advice would be to make what you like, enjoy it and research what you can make and what interests you rather than focusing on the "expensive morphs"

Nope, you need to spend money to make money, and lots of it. And then you actually have to be able to sell the offspring. Quality in = quality out, usually, and you need a name to be able to move high end morphs.

Re: Ball Python cheap to expensive breeding!

I just saw your other thread. Now, from my perspective, it sound like all you want to do is create morphs that are desirable to other people but also are expensive so you can make money. If you're in this to make money, you're going to fail, horribly. It takes YEARS to turn any kind of profit and it's all relative to the market at the time. Some years you may do well and some you'll be sitting on babies for months!

My advice is to breed because it's your passion. Think of making money as a bonus check...it's much more rewarding and you won't get burnt out when the market is doing badly and you can't sell your babies.
