Picked up two spanking new Rio Fuertes from Steve Angeli last night. Got the first picks out of 11 new babies born right after Christmas. The hatchling rack was about a foot from his puff adder and russell's viper enclosures. It was a little unnerving trying to make my selections while those puffs were hissing and puffing at me.
The kids picked out two Nahuatl (Aztec) names last night. Allow me to introduce:
Ahuitzotl - which fittingly means "water monster, definitely the more laid back of the two:
And Oxomoco, who has stopped with the hissy fits and has become slightly calmer:
If anyone is interested in beadeds or gilas, I cannot recommend Steve enough. I've done business with him several times and have never been disappointed. He loves to talk beadeds and is positive and fun guy to talk herps with in general.
