    mite off
Try Reptile Spray. Its natural and can be sprayed on the snakes.

I would stay away from and keep away anybody that is having a mite issue.

Once worked for me as well. They were gone by day 2. Haven't seen mites since.

So that's three people that killed mites in one treatment. That means either your(OP) cleaning is missing something or you are reintroducing mites from a different source.

I'm trying to get you to figure out how the mites are reoccuring. If you keep going some place with them your going to keep having this issue. I would stay away from your friends house.

You have no idea how I clean.

I'll stop trying to help you now since its obviously not needed.

I recently had a mite issue with my skink. I like everyone else had to pull everything out of the cages, I soaked all the wood in the enclosures with bleach and water then baked in the oven for 2 hours. Scurbbed the enclosures with bleach then washed them down. Put paper towels and a plastic hide back in the enclosures, sprayed in PAM then soaked the animals in reptile relief. I haven't seen any live mites, but I have found dead ones in the enclosure, so I continue treating. The one thing I did that was stupid on my part was the first cage I cleaned the substrate out of I just threw in my kitchen trash can, luckily I realized the mistake I had made by not taking it outside before I finished cleaning.

I haven't responded just because those that have already hit the points.
    I will bet its YOU?
I have had mites ride home from an expo on me.
If you have someone that you have visited that has mites OR a location that could have reptiles and mites, then you just might be the carrier.
Its either that or you are not following up a second treatment soon enough.
I use the Natural Chemistry the couple times I needed it and it works great. I also use it to treat QT just to be safe.
