New savannah rescue

I have a 9 month old male savannah and he is doing very well and loves to be held. The other day my son traded a urimastyx for a female savannah about half his age she seemed to be tamed and was very calm, now we are worried she might be sick she ate a rat the first day and regurged two days later and is lethargic and doesnt want to eat. We have her set up with good humidity and heat but Im concerned with what might be wrong. im afraid she wasnt kept under the best conditions and the guy we got her from said he had her a week but she bit him and he wanted to get rid of her because if she bit him again he said he might hurt her and I think he might have snatched her around when she bit him. She also has scars on her back. Im going to take her to the vet, I was just wondering if the cold might have her slowed up.

Yeah the cold will effect them pretty badly. Try to just keep her on invertebrates for a while, that really should be the bulk of their diet, even adults.

What's your set up like? (enclosure size, temps both basking and ambient, humidity, ect).

She is in a 40 gallon breeder with foam insulation taped on three sides with a heat lamp and heat pad I have a melamine lid with a hole cut for the lite its a temp setup because this monitor was a rescue and the guy I got her from had her in a ten gallon tank. I have the humidity around 60 % and the temp is 110 on the hot side. 80 on the cool side. Im gonna add another light ti get the temp up to 130

Shes doing so much better she ate several super worms a couple dubias and two pinky rats. I think she must have been kept in terrible conditions and proper temps and humidity has revived her. I dont think she has an RI just seems like she was wore out.

Lay off the rodents until all of the husbandry parameters are meet.

She needs a hot hot hot side - I'd shoot for 140 minimum. A temperate cool side. A deep diggable substrate that holds moisture without getting wet and time to settle in and feel secure.

She has made a change for the better evidently it wasnt RI but just stress or something because she is acting comoletely normal with temps and humidity at proper levels and is eating super worms dubias and pinkies like crazy
