    Heat is a no issue since you don't need a hot spot if you heat ambient warm enough(I.e. ~85).

    Or back heat on a board you can attach to the back.(radiant heat from the board than actually attached to the plastic)

    However, those are not secure enough to house a snake. They would escape pretty easily.
