Use Google Images and search "snake injured by rat" to see what can happen.
You don't think I know this. ( I know I sound like I'm being sarcastic or being demeaming I assure you that is not the way I meant that ) I realize that a full grown rat with sharp claws and sharp teeth may harm and or kill a snake, what I meant was feed it small rat pups or pinkys or fuzzies or anything without sharp claws or teeth. I do see that the snake is too big and does not eat that but feeding him 4 pinkys is better than nothing. Also I did do my research I have 2 notebooks of handwritten notes and a year old healthy snake to prove it. ( once again I did not mean that in a negative way )
