    I would use betadine over neosporin. Also, was the feeder well fed and watered? As well as appropriate size? You didnt dangle/stun/ or othewise scare the feeder prior to offering? There is nothing wrong with live when done properly. So peeps, don't let this scare you off. F/t has its risks a well.
