    Help with breeding!

    Hello,
For some reason my male isn't in the mood to breed, am I doing something wrong? I have a female with him and kept them together for about a month or two, and not a single thing yet
What should I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thank you,
    Billy Nicholas

First... I know it may sound stupid but check gender again.
If they are correct...what is your setup for them like? Where do have there setup?
    Sometimes it just takes time.

Its possible that he's not fertile or she's not fertile, or maybe he has no interest in females. Homosexuality does happen with other animals.
1 Husband, 1 Western Hognose Snake (male), 2 ferrets (2 females), 1 male jungle leopard gecko, 4 gerbils (2 females & 2 males), 1 male dwarf rabbit, 3 guinea pigs (1 male, 1 female and 1 female skinny pig), 2 American parakeets, 2 cats (male bobcat hybrid and a male Egyptian Mau mix), and 2 dogs (female Mini Dachshund and a female Alaskan Malamute).

Are they kept in a quiet location, do they have a hide box or house? Wheel?

Super quiet, and they need hide boxes and wheels? Well, I think I found my problem then!
    Thank you!

What are feeding them? Breeding and pregnant/ nursing rats need a higher protein/fat also

I just got my first litter. They don't have hideboxes or wheels. I had to take their igloo out because one would stand on it and chew the top of the tub. How many rats do you have and how old are the females? I had three females and only one would let the male breed her. Do you see him making any advances on them at all?

Wheel is unnecessary but a hide might help if you are having problems. You could also introduce dirty bedding into their cage, from other male rats. Once the male smells the other rats, it may spur him into action. We use that trick a lot on mouse forums.
