Interesting arboreal

Someone asked if we could build a coffin so I gave it a shot. Then I got to thinking that it would make a neat cage. It wasn't big enough for any of our burms so I started thinking arboreal and came up with this. I will be adding a glass door, lights, and a vent but you get the idea for now.

Interesting design and good looking workmanship. Did you seal the wood with anything?

We shot a few coats of Minwax polycrylic. It's a water based clear coat that has no fumes
