Feeding problems
I have a two year old ball python. In the past three months I have switched her to frozen small rats. In the past month she has not eaten at all. I've offered every week. I have tried tease feeding, heating it up with abl
e dryer, dipping in chicken broth and buying other brands of frozen rats. I originally had her on petco frozens but switched her to rodent pro. She hasn't eaten any of the rodent pro. I tried another petco one the other day and still no luck. Is this normal for winter time? We will be coming on her fifth week without eating. I am going to start keeping track if her weight. And just incise anyone is wondering she is in a sterilite 120 quart bin with a water dish, zoo med UTH,and hide box. Please help me get her to eat!

Has she eaten any F/T at all? Also, are you sure that her temps/humidity are where they are supposed to be? I see what type of heat you are using, but it's always good to know exactly before advice is given out.

Re: Feeding problems
Given temps and humidity are good, I wouldn't worry too much. Just keep an eye on the weight.
I have over 40 Ball Pythons and most are all off food, except for the babies. It's that time of year.

If your husbandry is solid, it is probably just a matter of being patient. She's not a baby, and it's that time of year. Many of ours are off feed.
